If you say history is unimportant, you thereby consider your birth the same way. If you say philosophy is for the senseless, I’ll ask you why till you loose all the answers. If you don’t believe in powers, gods or the unconscious, you’ll have to blame yourself for every mistake you make in life, I believe. If you despise the smell of old books and the letters they contain, your mind is probably as unreadable and old as well. Our lives travel faster than our thoughts nowadays. We forget that time is a creation of our own, not something we’re born with. Culture and believe has divided our lives in weeks, days and hours. So why follow these rules that only frighten us that the last days of our lives are coming near? Take your time and fill it with the pleasures in life that move in slow motion. Reminisce, think, write and read. That’s creating memories in a cup of tea.
